Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : When you do a tarot reading, who do the cards face?

If you do a reading for someone else do the card face you or them?

Answer by Ashley D
they face you, obviously, since your the one reading them, you have to be able to look at them easily in order to interpret them quickly and accurately

Answer by Andi
well one thing that you will notice with tarot cards is that whatever you do, is your own personal way of doing it, and it’s usually whatever makes you comfortable.
you may have it facing you since you are the one reading it, or choose to have it facing the person whom the reading is for so that they can see their results.
i usually have it facing the person since i want them to be as much a part of the process as they can. i like to ask them what they think the symbols mean, along with my interpretation.

Answer by James B
Well there really is no right or wrong way, since it is all a matter of personal taste and what feels right to you, but typically they should be facing the reader as to make it easier to interpret the cards.

Answer by Rev. Lynn D.
The cards face the reader. It would be awkward having them face away from you.

Answer by Sweet Bear
I have been reading and teaching the tarot for over 20 yrs and I always read them facing me. This is the easiest way to read them especial for a beginner.

Answer by Maralee Fox-Heins
The cards would face the Reader for self readings and the cards would also face the Reader when doing readings for others unless that Reader happens to be experienced enough to be able to read with the cards facing the client like I can. I have found that reading this way makes it much easier to explain the cards to the client instead of having to turn each card around to face them.

Joy to you,
Maralee Fox-Heins

Answer by Lori G
I think it makes sense to have them facing you. After all, you wouldn’t read a book upside down even if you were reading it to someone else.

OMG!!! If you haven’t read Fallen by Lauren Kate then you totally should. Daniel is a fallen angel (too bad for heaven, too good for hell) so is Cam. Luce has a past shrouded in mystery, that she doesn’t even know she has. And it’s got something to do with the strange connection she has with Daniel. Here’s the blurb:

There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.

Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce–and goes out of his way to make that very clear–she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.

Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the ultimate love story.

The books in the Fallen series so far are Fallen, Torment, Passion, Rapture. So you will have plenty to read.

The Gemma Doyle Trilogy! (A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, and The Sweet Far Thing) I recently finished reading the books and oh my gosh, they are so good. There is forbidden love, ghosts, magic, and other worlds. The author is Libba Bray. (:

the real God (Christian God: the Holy Trinity) created a set number of angels on the 2nd day…let’s say 30 billion. 1/3 of all angels rebelled against God…10 billion…God turned the rebels into spiritual darkness aka demons. well, technically, God had mercy on them because He didn’t kill them or send them straight to hell. God gave them a chance to repent of what they’ve done. so, demons had about at least 7000 years to ask God to forgive them. they didn’t do it. so, now they’ll burn in hell with all the people who follow them (aka witches/wizzards, astrologers/tarot card readers, mediums/seers, ghost hunters, etc.). well, of course, if these witches/astrologers/mediums/etc. repent of their sins and ask God to forgive them, God will forgive them. so, what I ‘m saying, everybody’s got a shot to go to heaven – they just have to ask God to forgive them their sins.
demons disguise themselves as ghosts, greys, aliens, pagan gods, etc. basically just everywhere u go (something paranormal or religious like ouija board, channeling, dead relatives during seances), it’s the demons almost all the time. to fight demons, u gotta be a christian. here are some christians’ thoughts. spread the warning, please.
jigsaw from ‘saw’ movie is the antichrist.
devil is black with red eyes.
antichrist is white with red eyes.
jigsaw will rule from jerusalem in a few years.
jerusalem is the whore of babylon.
mark of the beast is similar to the ‘in time’ movie tattoo; it
will be given with small gray world passport by lasers.
Vyatcheslav Krasheninnikov (1982-1993) said this:
-china will attack russia
-jews will lose war against muslims
-80 foot dinosaurs will come out thru lakes and sinkholes. don’t go near lakes and sinkholes.
-statue of liberty will make one step forward and then collapse
-antichrist has white powder on his face. his eyes are red. don’t worship him.
-green electronic tattoo will be given by lasers when people stretch their hands to receive small gray world passport. don’t take chip. don’t take world passport. don’t take any tattoos.
-demons dress in fake human skin and fly in ufo ships. don’t go into a ufo ship.
people who go into ufo ships to be healed by demons, come out zombies.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Did you are or you planning to attend your county or state fair?

What did you do?
Who did you go with?
What did you eat?
Were you satisfied/
Will you go back next year?

Answer by Paul N
I have been going to County Fairs and the Texas State Fair for many years. I even went to the New England State Fair in Springfield Mass. in 2000, I believe it was. Wow ! What a show. I went with my parents and sister when I was a kid. I went to the Uvalde County Stock Show for many years. I showed stock in the County Show many times. I entered a Team Judging competition several times and won some ribbons. We judged fat calves and swine and chickens. I competed with my FFA Chapter and with my college team. At the Uvalde County Livestock Show you could buy hot tamales at the concession for a dime each. I do love good hot tamales. I was always very satisified with the show and the food available. I hope to attend County Fairs and Stock Shows the rest of my life. The Bexar County Livestock Show and Rodeo was outstanding when I was a kid. I would have to admit it did not take a lot to impress a farm boy from Uvalde County, Texas. The Houston Texas Livestock Show and Rodeo is always a big show. Possible the Houston Show is the best there is. Almost every county in Texas has some kind of Livestock Show. You wouldn’t go wrong by going to any of them. Texas rural folks at their very best is what makes local Stock Shows outstanding in The Lone Star State. God Bless Texas !

no not this year :((( we are toooo broke. I want fried swiss cheese on a stick! And I wanted to see the Amish quilts! boohooohhoooohooohoo.

Answer by Debbie H
Our state fair lets you in free before 1 pm. After that you have to pay big time. I only care about looking at the exhibits. After a couple of hours we go home (before rush hour).
I don’t usually go to the fair since I am older and dont have kids at home. But if I can get my hubby to take me at noon I might go.

Answer by Sew What?
Never been to a State Fair.

Used to take my kids to the county fair every year. Spent the whole day looking at exhibits, riding rides, eating junk. It was fun.

Hmm. Wonder what it would be like to go without the kids? Maybe I will. It’s in April.

Answer by blues breaker
strange you ask this now. we had talked about heading up the milwaukee this yr for the state fair but i thought it was over, just this evening, my dad called and asked me and my 11 yr old son to go to the milwaukee fair tomorrow. guess it’s not over yet. haven’t been in years. i hope it’s not a disappointment

Answer by ‘ Empty Nester ‘
Only if I can find someone to ride the ferris wheel with me. So far, no takers, so I may be staying home…

Answer by sophieb
Our state fair is in February and I was there once. It’s like a carnival atmosphere, and they have a fun house and shooting type games, and a ferris wheel. They have handmade things and they give ribbons for some things like canning foods, and ribbons for the best heifer, chickens, geese, rabbits, goats, and they have horses (so don’t wear sandals). Since it was a carnival like atmosphere we had cotton candy and hot dogs. He won for me a big stuffed animal. There were tarot card readers. We did a lot of walking (make sure your shoes are comfortable and if you’ll be out there in the evening make sure you have sprayed yourelf with bug spray and take a sweater or windbreaker. Like I said, I went “once” and that was enough for me.

Answer by daisy
I would gladly go with Empty Nester, but on the roller coaster, not the ferris wheel. When the wheel stops with me on the top, I feel ill.

I refuse to go on cable cars also. I will not hang by a thread hundreds of feet, seemingly, above the canyons and mountains.

Fairs are for junk food. Funnel cakes and cotton candy.

Answer by E-ma
No. Never.
It’s always in the summer time in Texas.
I can’t take the heat anymore. My husband would certainly not pay to walk around in the heat as he has to work in it all day.

Answer by alcaholicdemon
i hope i can go this year,it starts the 24th this month.our fair is a agricultural fair and i love to look at all the canning and beautiful flowers people have raised.i go with the old man,but its all gravel and he cant walk so we will try to wheel him into the exhibit building.we love to eat at the the churches booth which serves the best frito banditos. i ever ate.i love the fair.i hope if we are alive we can afford to go next year.

Answer by Carlos O
Your grammar is hideous.

Answer by Silver and Sensible
We will be going to our state fair the week before Labor Day weekend. We are going with my husband’s family. We probably won’t eat anything there because generally fair food is not healthy food. We both have to watch our salt, sugar and cholesterol.

We went to our county fair a couple weeks ago. Just my husband and I. We didn’t eat anything there. No we weren’t satisfied. It was smaller than last year, not as many displays or crafts and that’s what we go for. No we won’t be back next year because we are moving 400 miles away.

Answer by Lynn
For many of us, it’s not within the senior budgets at the higher cost
they charge for admittance today. I think seniors deserve to get in
free or at a substantially lower cost than the general public. So though
we’d all like to go, that physically can, the price of admission is just
not as affordable, as it once was.

Answer by lora
Went to see a benefit concert.
Went with husband.
We shared a Philly Steak & Cheese, Corn Dog and lemonade.
Yes we always have a good time when we are together.
We will go if they have good entertainment, it is one of
the oldest county fairs in the state.
We will be going to another fair Labor Day for our Union Labor Day picnic.
