tarot reading

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : What’s the name of the Degrassi: The Boiling Point episode where Eli & Clare are doing a tarot card reading?

I thought I saw every episode this past season but I keep seeing things on Youtube and random fan sites with pictures and video clips of Clare & Eli in a tent doing a tarot reading. He’s wearing a black hat and she has some crystal thing goin on I believe… And she draws The Lovers and some other card. Which episode is that scene in?

Answer by Jess
its not in an episode its their part in the promo for the show before it started airing during the summer. it was like old fashion carnival themed and everyone in the cast had a part in it.

Answer by Midnight Snack
That wasn’t in any episode this season. It was actually in the promo leading up to this season which was surprisingly well done. Take a Gander! The scene you’re talking about starts around the 1:33 mark.

Answer by Zoey
Its not an episode. It was a promo music video of things that were going to happen during the boiling point. It was something that made people guess what they thought would happen.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : How acurate is the tarot reading?

My life is going from bad to worst, I am so depress so I wanna get a tarot reading so maybe it gives me hope that something good will happen to me in the future but I am scared… Is it true what they say? and also would it be bad luck to know my future?

Answer by El Marxista
How accurate: (0 x 10^100)%.

Answer by thorndrose
How true a reading is varies from reader to reader. It isn’t bad luck to know your future. Let’s say you’re walking along the sidewalk blindfolded, would you want to know about the puddle up ahead? (Of course you do, that way you can avoid it.)

Tarot doesn’t work in my experience.

Answer by Dacy
The accuracy depends on the reader. Many people feel it is all about predicting the future but though a good reading can give some insight into future events based on present circumstances, it is much more helpful in giving guidance on how to handle situations to get us through difficulties. Yes, tarot does offer hope when we are down, however, it is not a substitute for handling depression. You may wish to consult a therapist and hold off on getting a reading for the time being.
As for luck, that has not place in this. It is about choice and the steps we decide to take in our lives that gets us through challenging times. Be hopeful.

It really just depends on the skill of you reader. Also know that you have free will so things can change.

Have you ever asked yourself why you find things like this so fascinating? The reason, I suspect, is because down inside you feel uncertain and nervous about the future and think these things might help you feel more confident.

But this is precisely why I urge you to put your trust in God alone for the future. As I have often said, predictions like these about the future are almost never on target (or else they are too vague to really mean anything). Why build your life around them or get your guidance from them? They are only a substitute for the guidance you really need—which is from God.

My other concern, however, is one that I hope you will take very seriously. These things may seem innocent and amusing at first—but it’s easy to get more and more fascinated with them, and eventually become involved in occult practices that are not from God.

Don’t be misled: Occult practices are not from God, but from spiritual forces opposed to God. Instead, put your faith and trust in Christ. When we know Him, we know we are safely in His hands no matter what the future holds. The Bible is right: “When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists … should not a people inquire of their God?” (Isaiah 8:19).

How accurate is the tarot reading? Answer: It depends. If you get it done in person then it could vary. For the reading to work the cards have to be right to the person who gives the reading. They have to sort of call to the person otherwise they will not work as well. And also if they have not been purified in a while all the previous quarents (the people who recieve the reading) negative energy will make the readings not so good. And if the tarot card reader does not take steps to prevent bad spirits from coming which messes with the readings. If you get a virtual reading, I have found these to be very accurate, depends if it is an a ctual reading or a game like a magic 8 ball. Try newage.com And I do not think it is bad luck to be prepared.

No. I don’t go in the tents on the sea front. They’re for idiot holiday makers who will cross the so called fortune tellers palm with silver, like £10 a throw.

It puts money in to the town anyway I suppose.

Answer by Pirate AM™
No, the few that I have had have been completely wrong. So far, the general M.O. of a psychic, astrologer, palmist, tarot reader, tea leaf reader, or anyone else seeking to take your money for telling your future relies on two things, they have a basic script that 60% or more applicable to most people (seriously, most people are worried about love, money and other common traits), the second is the huge amount of information that you are willing to offer up without thinking about what you are telling them.

Basically, they are all scams, period.

Answer by Forgotten Splinter
It totally depends how intuitive the reader is. I give accurate readings and people can vouch for me on this. I don’t care if some closed minds think tarot is evil, because it’s really not. These people should enlighten themselves on the subjects of psychology, symbolism and Carl Jung. I don’t read the cards magically, I interpret the symbols via my intuition. It’s just another way of analysing secrets of the mind. No magic, no evil. Simple as that.

may I add I have never received payment of any kind for a reading. Not in 14 years. Not even a bag of chips!

Answer by lazybones
Went to one years ago and she was surprisingly accurate.
Was walking down a street in my hometown a few months later and who did I see? Turns out she’s from the same town and knows my family

Answer by Goblyn Queen
Yep. Tarot cards aren’t used for “seeing the future”. They are used to give insight into a particular situation that the asker is too close too. In other words, they can show you something that’s there that you didn’t see before.
