tarot reading

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : What is my tarot read telling me?

So, I did a tarot read using the Horseshoe Layout.
Past – Two of Swords
Present -Page of Cups
Obstacle – Two of Cups
Future – Eight of Swords
I read up on all these cards with the book I have for readings and I looked online as well. I’m pretty sure I have it figured out, but I wanted a little more input to be sure. Thoughts?
Thanks all!

It means something will happen with someone somewhere somehow.

You will create a new Internet video sensation called “4 Tarot Cards 2 Girls 8 Cups and 10 Swords.”

You have avoided resolving an issue (it looks like an attraction or a romantic relationship) and the outlook based on your current course of action is that you will feel trapped.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Ever have a tarot reading bring you peace and clarity?

A reading so accurate that hit home and everything just made total and complete sense, and just gave you that sense of weight being lifted, allowing you to feel so much better about things? What did it say/what was it about?

Answer by levitical.order
Tarot card reading is the deceptive work of Satan to provide false hopes to those who prefer to dabble with the occult than believe in the True Light, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

No, all i got was a woman who chatted to me and asked me lots of personal questions before the reading and then quoted what I told her back at me. Coupled with her own guesses based on my appearance.

It DID give me peace and clarity in that I knew from then on that tarot was a sham and I was a dufus who wasted thirty bucks.

I do my own readings, and yes i have those kind of readings before and have giving those kind of readings to others before…

Answer by Tedi
Yes. My friends and I exchange readings with each other. So I guess I get better readings than their clients as they all seem to want me to read them. The best was one that said my life would drastically change and it did. I found out my 2nd hubby was having an affair and left him for another man who taught me to fly. Even bought me a my own plane(c-152). That was yrs ago nothing to knew now.

I used to give readings. Very accurate, But I could have said anything and still be believed.
The truth is, that people who seek such a service (and those who practise it). For fun or other reasons, really need to sort out their lives and get control back of their thinking and aims in life.

Knowing what is going to happen next week, will not prevent it. In fact it may unbalance you to worry about such things.
To such people I say, get a life…..and get in control of it. Don’t be a slave to your fears. Stop waiting and watching and live your life as we where meant to. Free to make mistakes and learn by them.
There are no sort cuts. If you think there is….. there will be a price to pay.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Is there a specific number of tarot cards that come up in a fortune-teller’s reading?

I was wondering if there’s a specific number of cards that fortune teller’s draw when they have people go to them for a tarot card reading. I don’t know much about this but from the looks of it, the cards are usually grouped with corresponding cards (if not it’s not a good sign). If so, how many cards come up? Thanks for info! Just curious:)

Answer by Jessica
The most popular spread is the Celtic Cross, which uses 10 cards. Depending on where the cards are in the spread, it has a different meaning. Look at this web site for more info: http://www.angelpaths.com/spreads3.html

Answer by Elaine M
Nope, it’s completely up to the reader.

They may have specific spreads they do, a 3 card past/present/future, or a 5 card spead, or a larger layout. And then may draw an extra card to ‘tie it together’, or an extra to help figure what the details are on one of the other cards in the spread.

Usually a spread has position meanings too, so a lot of information is being given. A good reader does smaller spreads. Beginner readers go for the 21 card layouts and get overwhelmed trying to figure out what they’re seeing. You can get excellent readings with just two cards. It depends on how you ask the question and what needs to be known.

I do 3 card layouts on each of our pets once a year, which helps a lot. I ask ‘tell me something I should pay attention to”, ‘tell me something I don’t know” and ‘tell me something that needs to be attended to”. Three very different things when you think about it. And it’s been very very accurate for me. I do readings on myself occasionally, and on circumstances coming up, but every reader is different.

NOBODY shoudl be scaring you over it. And nothing more than 6 months out will happen the way it’s described since your own actions affect things that extend out further than that. So look at it as only a short term reading, or a suggestion for finding the best way to work around a current problem. This stuff about ‘you’ll be married in 9 years and have four kids’ is bogus.

Depends on the Tarot card reader. Personally I like a three card spread called “Past, Present, Future”.

Answer by Sean
It really just depends on the specific tarot spread being used. You can use any where between one card or the whole deck.

Answer by Scarlet MacBlu
That depends completely on the reader. Some readers will just keep flipping cards over and having a conversation… each card is meant to clarify the situation further as questions come up until time runs out. There could be over 20 cards if it’s a long reading of this type.
Some readers will plan out a spread that has a specific number of cards. I’ve seen spreads that have up to 25 cards in them. More commonly, spreads will have less than 12 cards in them. Short spreads might have three cards. You can also have a reading with just one card. I’d say the most popular spreads might be some variation of a 3-card spread or the 10-card “celtic cross” spread which is the first spread most tarot readers learn since it’s in the guidebook for almost every deck you can buy (Gods only know why… it’s one of the hardest spreads to learn, in my opinion. I cringe every time I see it or see a newbie tarotist struggling with one.)

It all depends on how much time you have, what kind of question you are asking, how in-depth you want to go and what style the reader prefers.

Yes, in some spreads, you’ll see little groupings of cards, but all the cards in any spread will correspond with each other in some respect… at least if your reader is any good at reading them, they will.

The Tarot works in two ways. The first as a symbolic language relying on imagery, numbers, association and a mirroring effect of your personal current situation, and secondly as a vehicle to tap the universal energy of the moment. May be the following reference will help you.

Spiritual Energies for October 2012 – Channeled Angel & Tarot Card Reading

Written by ClairvoyantConni

Since the age of 2 I have had encounters and a personal relationship with loved ones crossed. In my opinion there are no better friends you can have. They are honest, without the capacity to hold ego or materialistic views and always give you accurate information to help you through whatever you are going through. They have the ability to see the past, present and future without judgement. Their accuracy is uncanny.

Having the gift of sight, hearing, sensing, smelling and tasting as well as empathy and the gift of communicating with spirit, gives me the ability to accurately read you without judgement.

Spirit has entrusted me with these gifts to help you in all areas of your life. It has been an exciting journey. This gift is generational and my grandmother and father both had the gift as well as my children.

I have assisted over 15,598 people online in the last 9 years alone. I have thousands of other clients as well. This is what I dedicate my life to as I know it is my life calling.
