not much more is needed to answer your question. do something else, like…learn to cook or something.

No you should throw them away.

So where is the harm in tarot cards? If those who use tarot cards are not worshipping Satan and are not conjuring up evil spirits or sacrificing virgins, how can tarot cards possibly be a danger to anyone? Oddly enough the danger of tarot cards is admitted within the ranks of tarot card readers themselves. The readers cannot explain how the tarot readings work, and the decision to use a particular system in reading the cards is entirely a matter of the personal preference of the reader. In other words, two readers could read the same spread of cards and come up with entirely different interpretations of those cards. Tarot card readers also say that the tarot can only provide a static “photograph” of a situation, and that our own choices and actions determine our future-not the cards. If this is the case, why use the tarot cards at all?

Tarot Cards: No Hope for the Future
Tarot cards represent the fact that we all want to know what the future has in store for us. One could argue that it’s actually commendable to want to make good decisions in the present based on our knowledge of the future. However, since the future hasn’t happened yet, there is no power here on earth that can tell us what’s in store. In order to have a hope for the future and gain the wisdom to make sound decisions now, we must tap into the power of the Creator of the universe – the only One who knows our future – God. Your future is written in the pages of God’s Word, the Bible; and God never changes, and His Word is not open to multiple interpretations. So, rather than basing your actions on a deck of cards and betting your future on the whims of card readers who admit that “nothing is written in stone,” why not place your trust in the unchangeable God who wants to be personally involved in your future.

I think you should. You seem to enjoy the activity.

Skeptics can yammer on about tarot not being able to tell the future, but when you’re reading the tarot to yourself you’re conceptualizing the images and meanings of the cards and they are reflecting psychological aspects of your own mind (and hence behavior patterns) that may otherwise have remained unconscious.

And this can give you insights into how your own thoughts and behaviors may shape your future. So it really is a type of prophesying.

Don’t ever use tarot cards they only reveal negative and evil things to you. Don’t speak those curses on you or those you love.

Answer by Fly Drake
If I were you I’ll stop using those cards; their evil.

Answer by HUMANIST
No throw them in the bin & don’t waste your money again, give it to charity.

Answer by Redundant Mariah is Axolotl
If that’s what you want, go for it. Most people will demonize the Tarot as mystic-nonsense, but even if you don’t believe they’ll tell the future, they can be a helpful way to search your own mind, and stimulate creative and problem-solving processes.

Tarot Cards are in no way blasphemous.

Ask the cards what to do. If they work they’ll tell you.

It’s not evil, it’s not a bad thing to read the cards, but it does say in the Bible, concerning sorcery and divination, that it is bad if the reader is a ‘foreigner’. (that’s what it says)
Like someone said above, it is a personal thing, a relational arrangement with the reader, who is a medium of greater or lesser ability. Reading cards was to make me more intuitive and empathic, but some of the ‘subjects’ were more than a little horrified. It is not a so-called parlor game, it is serious and btw what comes around goes around…_+)

Like anything else that you wish to learn, it takes time and practice. My husband teaches piano and is frequently asked how long it will take. His answer is: five years. Every student always says “That’s too long” and my husband replies “In five years you can be someone who plays the piano well or you can be someone who once thought about playing piano. Your choice, but either way in five years you will be five years older” So think about what you want to be in a few months or even years, someone who reads the Tarot or someone with a set of very dusty Tarot cards.

Yes keep practicing and use the deck you like! The more you work with the deck the more you will learn it. There are some basics to Tarot no matter the deck, there are archetypes to the cards and different symbols that is a trend in the decks if you learn those you won’t have any problems reading the different decks. Yes there are some extra added meanings that vary from deck to deck but if you get the basics down then you can read any deck.

Just keep on practicing and you will learn it.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Does anybody believe in tarot cards or aura and everything else psychics use to read people?

I went to a psychic one time and she told me that I have a weak aura because of everything that i’ve been through in life, and that it has weakened me. And all she sees is negativity surrounding my aura. What the fuck does an aura look like?

Answer by Samilton
its all just bullshit 😛

Answer by Fallas
Do you? ‘Nuff said!

Answer by The Rev. Barnum Fife
I don’t believe in auras, tarot, astrology…but I do believe in reading the human body: chiromancy, face-reading, etc.

James Randi had a special on a *major* network years ago, in which he challenged dowsers, aura readers, etc. to prove themselves (with his 1 million at stake). He had five people of various heights stand behind a screen, and asked the aura-readers which person was the tallest, second-tallest, so on. The results were not impressive.

All pshychics are like santa clause its pure make believe. You can easily stump a pscyhic . Why is it that they need to ask you so many questions before making a judgement about you when they claim they know the unknown or unseen.

If they claim to know the future, I think they wouldve taken the necessary steps that would lead them to living the best lifestyle money can get them rather than sitting in their gloomy houses all day long ripping people off of their hard earned money.

Answer by dyingatheist
I believe in an aura but i don’t believe it reveals anything about the person.

Answer by Stephen
So obviously you must think there is a LITTLE truth to it sense you went to the psychic in the first place. In my personal experience I would have to say that the Tarot is real and so are auras, but don’t think that the psychic can truly tell your future or anything like that, they merely serve as a kind of conduit to show you your answers. I cant say what an aura looks like because I am not a clairvoyant but my fiance sees them at least faintly. In the end you’ll have to decide for yourself whether its real or not, others can’t make that decision for you.

Answer by Rev. Lynn D.
The aura is an energy field that is outside of the body but close to it and it can extend a long distance from the body. The aura indicates what is going on with a person mentally and physically.

I do not agree with what the psychic told you because the aura is changing constantly depending on your emotions, stress, illness etc. so no one can read it and say that it is always that way. A day later, it may be completely different.

The aura is made up of many colors and those colors have meanings that are personal for you. But again, this is always changing.

Answer by Angela
Aura has to do with your energy and what you give off. I’m surprised that the psychic you went to told you that you have a negative aura and didn’t have any course of action for you to take in order to improve it. There are ways to improve your aura, if in fact, you have this problem. This page might give you more information on this.
