Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Is Yahoo! Answers better than a Tarot card reader?

Besides being free, I was just thinking how the advice on Yahoo! Answers is probably usually much better than what anyone ever gets from a Tarot card readers (who can charge $ 30 for 30 minutes, or something like that).

I’ll tell anything you wish to hear if you pay me.

What do you want for free?

Well, I answered a question this morning about how to take care of a
baby mouse. Doubt the Tarot would be much help there.

Answer by Starling
It would depend on what your question is. If it’s “can rabbits eat acorns” (which I’ve seen) then Yahoo! Answers would be better. If your question is “should I marry him or talk to my old boyfriend?” then tarot cards would probably be best. There’s places you can get free card readings. They might not be tarot, but they’re free if you read the rules and ask nicely. http://www.healinghandsrus.org.uk/forums/index.php
I hope I helped.

Anything is better than a tarot card reader practicing a portion of witchcraft. This is a direct invitation to evil spirits. Run from tarot card readers.

It has been well-documented that a group statistically makes better decisons than an individual…so keep asking us for advice!

Abstract

Consider a group of people confronted with a dichotomous choice (for example, a yes or no decision). Assume that we can characterize each person by a probability, pi, of making the ‘better’ of the two choices open to the group, such that we define ‘better’ in terms of some linear ordering of the alternatives. If individual choices are independent, and if the a priori likelihood that either of the two choices is correct is one half, we show that the group decision procedure that maximizes the likelihood that the group will make the better of the two choices open to it is a weighted voting rule that assigns weights, wi, such that Pi wi ~ log 1-ffi “

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Tarot card reader……..?

So, i just got my tarot cards read tonight and stuff, and everything was scarily accurate. But at the end, the woman that was doing the cards said i looked just like my mother about 20 years ago. She knows my mom, but only for about a few months. When i asked my mom about the reader, she said she only knew the woman for a few months and never before did they know eachother. So what could that mean? I just thought that it was a little strange for the woman to say an odd thing like that… Opinions please. Not looking for anything supernatural. But if you think so, feel free to comment. Thanks.

Tarot readers try to say generic things that apply to lots of people. Lots of people resemble their parents in some ways, so it’s a typical thing to say you were like your parents when they were your age.

Answer by A Genius
That Tarot card stuff is a scam and a con. They want your money. They just say a lot of general things that could apply to anybody!
To prove it- go to to 2 or 3 different readers in one night. The cards will be DIFFERENT, and you will get 3 different readings!! Then, ask them specific things like what was your grandma’s maiden name.

Answer by Goblyn Queen
It’s possible your reader saw an old photo of your mother. It doesn’t sound like she is a highly accurate reader.

I suggest if you want your cards read again, to buy a deck and book and learn to do it for yourself. Saves money. A good book and nice deck would run you around $ 30 total.

Since the age of 2 I have had encounters and a personal relationship with loved ones crossed. In my opinion there are no better friends you can have. They are honest, without the capacity to hold ego or materialistic views and always give you accurate information to help you through whatever you are going through. They have the ability to see the past, present and future without judgement. Their accuracy is uncanny.

Having the gift of sight, hearing, sensing, smelling and tasting as well as empathy and the gift of communicating with spirit, gives me the ability to accurately read you without judgement.

Spirit has entrusted me with these gifts to help you in all areas of your life. It has been an exciting journey. This gift is generational and my grandmother and father both had the gift as well as my children.

I have assisted over 15,598 people online in the last 9 years alone. I have thousands of other clients as well. This is what I dedicate my life to as I know it is my life calling.
