I’ve gotten tarot readings from my cousin for free many times. It’s interesting and accurate.

I wrote about my first experience on a Hubpage. I didn’t understand the symbolism then, but I took it up as an interest and then professionally.Very interesting.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : do/did tarot readers ever charge you an extra amount of money (ex: 0) for getting rid of your bad luck?

there’s no thing such as bad luck. you yourself make your day happen the way you want, everyday. you do not have to believe in that kind of stuff.
love yourself instead and have faith in god that has a path for you

I heard one charged a guy $ 500 for an oil to make him irresistible to women, he rubbed it on his dong as instructed and it burned like acid.

If they charge you, they are money grubbers and not true seers.

First of all to the post that said if you’re charged for a reading they’re just taking your money. That is not true – Tarot readers can charge for their services. Its has nothing to do with being a true seer or not – it has everything to do with being compensated for your time and talent. As far as being charged an excessive amount that is crazy! No respected Tarot reader, astrologer or psychic would ever charge an extra amount to remove any sort of hex, bad luck etc.
Tarot readers do not deal with spirits and are just giving you insight on situations that you inquire about. Depending on the type of reading you’re receiving a Tarot reading should cost you anywhere from $ 10 -$ 75.

Psychics or witches who use tarot cards may offer a hex removing service – but again it shouldn’t be $ 500 for the service.

this reading sounds more like a reading for the skeptics that like to give thumbs down.. oh well here you go.

The first card, the significator, is placed in the center of the cross. This card represents the prime energy manifest in your life. The Emperor, when reversed: Weakness in character leading to tyranny and abuse of worldly power. Loss of confidence and ambition, coupled with the cold execution of the unthinkable. The inability to carry out plans or command respect. Being unreasonable and prone to fits of rage. A deceiver or demagogue.
The second card, placed above the significator, represents Air. It describes your spirit, process of thought, and the influence of reason. Three of Wands (Virtue): Personal fortitude and strength of character. Accumulated power set in motion towards a distant goal. The initiation of an enduring partnership based on absolute trust. Honor maintained in a time of desperate struggle. Taking full responsibility for a decision, and bearing the solitude of leadership.
The third card, placed to the right of the significator, represents Fire. It describes your motivations, creative energies, and the influence of passion. Eight of Pentacles (Prudence), when reversed: Undue attention to small details at the expense of the big picture. Losing yourself in your work, to the detriment of your personal and spiritual life. Making the same mistake repeatedly. Refusing to learn new crafts or skills.
The fourth card, placed below the significator, represents Water. It describes your emotions, meditations, and the influence of love. Page of Swords: The essence of air behaving as earth, such as a steady wind: The approach of an unexpected challenge, to be met with clear thought and just action. A person filled with an eager appetite for all matters of mind and logic. The gathering of information through unfaltering vigilance, careful examination, and subtle spycraft. The use of reason or eloquent speech to penetrate the veil of confusion and cut to the heart of the matter.
The fifth card, placed to the left of the significator represents Earth. It describes your physical presence, position in life, and the influence of the material world. Eight of Cups (Indolence), when reversed: The realization that a matter thought to be important was actually of little consequence. Moving on from something in which you had invested great love and devotion. The start of an inner journey to find higher aspects of life. Reflection on what is truly fulfilling in life.
At this point the cross is complete and the triangle is formed. The sixth card, placed on the bottom left of the triangle represents one of two opposing forces. Six of Swords (Science), when reversed: Conceit and intellectual pride. Being stuck in a problem which has no apparent solution. Frustration and anxiety that are left unsettled. Travel and exploration are delayed.
The seventh card, placed on the bottom right of the triangle represents the force that opposes the bottom left card. These forces may be external, but they are frequently one’s own inner archetypes in conflict. The High Priestess: A pure, exalted and gracious influence. Education, knowledge, wisdom, and esoteric teachings. The forces of nature. Intuition, foresight, and spiritual revelation of the most mysterious and arcane sort.
The eighth card, the reconciler, is placed below the cross in the third vertex of the triangle. This is the force that will resolve the conflict between the bottom left and bottom right cards. By meditating on this force and bringing more of it into your life, you can bring the matter at hand to a swifter conclusion than would naturally occur. Queen of Wands: The essence of fire behaving as water, such as a rainbow: The natural embodiment of passion and sensuality, who is always the center of attention. One who reflects the desires and ambitions of others, and ignites them. A radiantly vital person, cocky and charismatic, who sees what she wants and goes after it.
The ninth and final card, placed in the center bottom of the triangle, represents the final outcome unless you change course. Five of Swords (Defeat): A success earned through personal degradation. Separation from friends brought about by an unfeeling and coldly calculated act. Temporary victory tainted by dishonor and providing fuel for eventual defeat.
