Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Any expert tarot card readers?

I was wondering if you could interpret my drawing? It was this ad online. I picked 3 cards and chose a wish.
I wished for love/desire for love etc.

I first drew the World card, followed by the Emperor card, followed by the Sun card.

Anyone know that this means?

Answer by lol yeah
First off, I will give you an advice. Never do a Tarot card reading between full moon and new moon, meaning the waning phase of the moon. The best time to do Tarot Card reading is between New moon and Full moon.

This month, the full moon was May 5th and the new moon is on May 20th. So basically, you shouldn’t do a reading between May 6th and May19th. Otherwise the advice from the cards will put you on the wrong path, giving you all the wrong advice. So wait until next week on sunday, ask your question only then.

Secondly, the online adds are kinda phony, and the results you got are utterly rare to get all at once. It’s almost too good to be true. Don’t even take it seriously. If you want to pick cards online for free, there is a great webiste with very accurate readings and it’s totally free:
http://www.facade.com/tarot/
Chose “Deck” (“brand” of Tarot) in the list (for example Marseille Tarot or Rider Waite, best examples if you ask me) and then chose a “Spread” (you can chose “Chose for me” if you can’t decide).
make sure you have the “Reversals” validated too. Make sure you know exactly your question. Repeat that question in your mind, at least 3 times. And then click on “FREE Reading”.

The results come instantly. Very useful and even I, with more than 10 years experience reading cards, is astonished by its accuracy.

Anyways, forget about that add. It is delusional and not accurate

Hope it helped

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : To all tarot readers, do you actively participate in a tarot forum community?

Hi there all tarot card readers, authors and enthusiasts. I wish to get an overview of how tarot enthusiasts go about keeping their knowledge moving on an upward incline. For this reason I’d like to know if you participate in any online forums? What are some of the things you do to keep your approach to tarot card reading fresh and upgraded?

Answer by Charlie
I am pretty active on Aeclectic Tarot forum (which contains a number of separate forums I will discuss below) – it has a lot to offer the enthusiast but it WILL make your deck collection go if you make frequent trips to it. Here’s what I love about it:

The Decks forum: Every deck imaginable has a thread in it and whenever you are trying to think of a deck you saw one time years ago and you can only remember two of the cards from it someone will have an answer within a few hours. Also when you feel like you are in the mood to work with a Celtic deck or a dark deck or a sci-fi deck you can post here and get loads of suggestions accompanied by pictures and personal insights.

The Learning Tarot Forum – here you will mostly see “How would you interpret the 3 of Cups as opposition?” threads form people looking for some fresh perspective.

The Readers Exchange – you can exchange readings with members here and receive feedback from them on how you did.

The History Forum – Many readers who have spent a good number of years working with some of the earliest Tarot decks post here and their insights are invaluable.

Deck Creation: If you are a behind the scenes type you will enjoy this part of the forum as people post images form their in-progress decks. Now most of these decks are “indie” and for many of them the art is only so-so but some major Tarot deck designers (Ciro Marcetti for example) post in this thread as well so you can see major decks that are soon to be published.

As far as keeping your approach to tarot fresh: Aeclectic has been known for its members participating in study groups together or taking on challenges for example: using only one deck for several months, or answering regular questions with erotic decks, or working with a deck made of cards from 78 separate decks that is mailed from member to member. There is a lot of experimentation happening at Aeclectic.

Most sections are available to non-subscribers but I’ve been a paid subscriber for years and love it. Now Aeclectic has been described by some as acidic and the community is known for being pretty hyper-critical of decks – especially new decks. For this reason some people (especially deck creators) avoid it but I feel that the modern tarot reader can get more from this site than any other forum. You can get new ideas for techniques and post your own experiences to see what the collective wisdom of the Tarot world thinks.

There are a few other places on the web: Tarot-Town is an interesting site with a lot of fun sections but at the moment (the site is still relatively new) none of the sections are that deep yet. You can take classes and workshops on Tarot-Town both for beginners and advanced readers. The tone of Tarot-Town is quite a bit lighter than Aeclectic but that might be because no one is saying much of anything. There is also a yahoo group called TarotL that you can join but it doesn’t have much activity on it.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : HELP! Expert advice needed about Tarot Card reading frequency..or complete offense to God?

I am new to Tarot Cards. I have done some research on their use but do not yet know enough to fully understand how they work. I have been using an online site for about a month now. It utilizes the 10 card draw from the “Celtic Cross” Tarot Deck. Although I know using an online site is not the same as actually being in front of a Master Tarot Card Reader or Psychic but some of the readings have come to pass with astonishing accuracy!

I have two questions and only two, both relating to each other that I need answered and has consumed my life obsessing over it. The last time I did the online reading was about a week ago and the reading I received revealed the answer to my 2 questions in such a positive way, supposedly in my immediate future that I have not consulted the Tarot again for fear of “jinxing” or affecting its outcome. However, what it revealed has not happened yet and now I am becoming very anxious about it.

Should I do another reading now or should I wait to see what manifests from the good reading I did a week ago? I read that you are not supposed to consult the Tarot again until something changes regarding the first reading or with much frequency?

I am very confused and would very much appreciate any of your advice before the stress and worry over this issue consumes me. Lastly I am a Christian…it is not my intention to usurp what God has in store for me…I just hope that somehow by using the Tarot I am getting his more direct Divine Intervention regarding my problems. Or is all of this offending God and should I just simply pray and hope that he answers me?

Thank you so very much for your time to read this and reply!

As a psychic medium I can say there comes a point where you need to take control of what you can and live your life. If someone repeatedly comes back to me too quickly and develops what may be a dependency that can be dangerous ground. You may be going back to your cards too often. It’s good to check in every once in a while and for for readings or cards I would say give it 3 months minimum. Sometimes that’s not even enough time for people to change their situations enough to make it meaningful. Sometimes when people come back too soon they end up getting a very similar reading as before and it’s not because I remember what I said to them. It’s because they haven’t made any changes in their lives to bring out some different lines of probability or paths they can choose to take.

If someone is getting cards read too often or getting readings too often then the person isn’t out there living life like they should and taking responsibility for what they can change and make better. You have all the power to manifest whatever you put the energy into in your life. If you sit around and worry something won’t happen long enough… it has more probability to end up happening the more you think about it and the more feelings you put behind it. I challenge you to instead focus on what you want to happen. That’s the secret to the law of attraction. When it rains it pours, whether it’s good or bad. Like attracts like, why wouldn’t you want to focus on the positive if it has a better chance of bringing more positive things?

Trust in what came out in the cards and that it will manifest at exactly the perfect time, which may not be the perfect time in your mind. When God is at work it’s not in your time frame, there are bigger things in play and divine timing is always perfect, always.

Lev 20:6,27. Isaiah 8:19 (NLT) So why are you trying to find out the future by consulting mediums and psychics? Do not listen to their whisperings and mutterings. Can the living find out the future from the dead? Why not ask your God?

Tarot cards and Christianity don’t mix. These things are not pleasing to God. We are to ask God and trust in him. He will give us a peace and calm despite what may come. We don’t have to fear the future with God on our side.

Tarot cards and New Age things open us up to the devil and his thoughts. To have these things in your house gives it a negative atmosphere. You’ll find that things just don’t go right for you. You’ll attract negative people in your life that aren’t good for you. God calls us to clean house, literally. Numerous places in the Scriptures, God calls his people to get the accursed things out of their homes. I used to do those things, too. I got rid of all the books, cards, etc. I now have a restful home. I have peace of mind. If you’d like to email me privately, please feel free to do so.

Consulting mediums is against God’s word. It is sin. Your anxiety may be caused by knowing that you are on dangerous ground spiritually. Be careful. When you open yourself to Tarot and Ouija Boards you let the enemy get a foothold in your mind. Be still and know that I am God. This is New Age belief and the New Age believes you have god in you, so you are a god. We DO have the Spirit of God indwelling us if we invite Him, but the Spirit of God in us does NOT make us God. Trials come to build our faith. Have faith in God and not the occult. Repent and praise God that He knows best for your life and enjoy each day rather than waiting for something to come. That way you miss getting the most out of today. Let God’s will be done in your life. Here is a free book with lots of answers to questions about life: www.oneheartbeataway.org.
